The last time we left Akira a surveillance drone spotted her and opened fire, ripping her apart. Akira got so close, or so she thought... the emperor had been one step ahead this entire time and was preparing to invade China so he wasn't going to leave anything to chance. He had already sent his army to the border and was preparing for war... Weeks turned into months, cities were leveled and replaced with their own, no one was prepared for the tech the emperor had at his disposal.

Akira was eventually found by the Kitsune Vigilance, they managed to recover part of her brain stem and her data chip. This would mean she could be rebuilt with her personality intact, but this was going to take time and that was something they didn't have, 6 months had already gone by...

The Kitsune Vigilance had lost, all it took was a single Jikan generator for the emperor to take over the entirety of China and most of Russia in a single year. All cities were flattened and the people were displaced or converted into synthetic beings. Akira wasn't rebuilt in time which cost humanity dearly.

However... there was one thing that could fix everything and this was Akiras consciousness. With the help of her old dagger, she could cause enough temporal disturbance to use the generator for herself and go back to when she first appeared in Neo Osaka. This would take even more time to put the plan into action, but for once, time was irrelevant...
