According to legend when an Onna-Bugeisha becomes disgraced they turn to the ways of the Ronin “woman of the waves.”

in this world, before Akira lost everything in 1634, One faction took over Japan with alien technology that could control Nuclear Weapons and people with cyber implants. This tech was found in 2330 along with a time travel device that can only transport items.

Japan had easy world domination in mind so they sent back plasma Katanas, a mech, and a Giant Nodachi. This equipment allowed a selected clan to quickly overwhelm their enemies taking over Japan. This war swept through Akiras village, destroying it. However, she had inherited a dagger that could stand up to a Plasma weapon. In the battle for her village Katana met Dagger, causing a rift in time throwing her 708 years into the future...
